The story

How it began

Kurt Warner was born in 1971 in Burlington, Iowa, and played college football at the University of Northern Iowa. Undrafted, he famously stocked shelves at a grocery store and played Arena Football before getting his NFL chance.

He led the “Greatest Show on Turf” St. Louis Rams to a Super Bowl title, winning the game's MVP, and later took the Arizona Cardinals to a Super Bowl — one of the great underdog stories in sports. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017.
