Learned the carpenter's trade at 21, then farmed.
Died May 16, 1893.
Wife Martha Hagenbaugh d. Dec. 24, 1893 (dau. of Christian Hagenbaugh of Medina County, Ohio).
Five children.
Milo the only survivor.
Mary Elizabeth died aged about seven.
Three others died in infancy.
